The Avenue is a creative powerhouse at Northeastern University—its first and only fashion and culture publication, offering students a platform to explore and showcase their artistic voices. As a fully student-run initiative, every element of the magazine, from photography and design to writing, illustration, and marketing, is crafted by students, making it a true collective effort.
I began as a content writer but quickly channeled my passion for the publication into founding and leading the video team as Video Director, ensuring that our content translated the magazine’s print issues into engaging multimedia experiences. Overseeing the visual storytelling for our LUCID, DIVE, and BITE issues, I transformed our editorial vision into immersive short and long-form content, partnering further with Northeastern CAMD student Cali Cardenas and the rest of the Video Team to translate LUCID and DIVE into cinematic experiences.
For BITE, I took on the role of director, overseeing every element of the short film—from scriptwriting to casting, to meticulously curating each scene in post-production. Each project we produced redefined The Avenue’s creative scope, blending high fashion with narrative filmmaking to bring our print issues to life in daring, visually striking ways.
