Impact Everything is a social-impact retail store formerly based in Providence, RI, where every purchase you made had an impact on a cause, ranging from supporting global educational initiatives to combating climate change. Initially beginning as a project for my high school Entrepreneurship class, I grew deeply passionate towards the store and its impact-based mission, joining as a Brand Marketing Intern where I played a key role in building a community around sustainable, ethically sourced products and social change.
Collaborating with founders Lanna Nawa and Saroj Bhandari, I led organic and paid social media strategies, transforming platforms like Instagram and Facebook into spaces that inspired action and cultivated loyalty. I organized giveaways, photoshoots with local talent, and created authentic content that resonated with our audience.
Beyond social media, I helped produce a crowdfunding video for Impact Travel, the brand’s nonprofit arm, raising funds to build schools in Uganda. I also led marketing efforts for the Run for Uganda 5K, mobilizing our community to support the cause. This experience was about more than growing a brand—it was about building a movement and using marketing as a force for good, empowering communities and promoting sustainability through conscious consumption.
